Introducing the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History  

 

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History (FWMSH) is a science and history museum located in Fort Worth, Texas. The museum was founded in 1945 as the Fort Worth Public Library Museum, and it was later renamed to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History in 1961. The FWMSH is currently operated by the city of Fort Worth, and it is the largest museum in the city. 

The FWMSH is divided into several different departments, which include the Earth Sciences Department, the Life Sciences Department, the Physical Sciences Department, the History Department, and the Children’s Museum. The Earth Sciences Department contains exhibits on geology, archaeology, paleontology, and mineralogy. The Life Sciences Department contains exhibits on botany, zoology, human anatomy, and ecology.
