A Full-Service Finishing Partner Right Here in North Texas
Powder Coating, Sandblasting, Burn-Off Stripping, & Metal Finishing, All Under One Roof
When you need parts coated, blasted, or stripped back to bare metal and returned on schedule, you want a finishing shop that treats your production timeline like its own. Crosslink South has run its finishing operation out of Cedar Hill for more than two decades, serving manufacturers, fabricators, and contractors across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and the wider North Texas market.
We handle the full finishing process under one roof: industrial powder coating, sandblasting and surface prep, thermal burn-off stripping for removing old coatings and reclaiming racks and fixtures, high-temperature coatings, and complete metal finishing for fabricated and architectural parts. Whether you are sending a production run of brackets or a single architectural piece, the same crew and the same standards apply to every job.
As a full-service product finishing operation, we keep your project moving from the first inspection through the final cure, so you are not chasing three vendors to get one part out the door. And because we are right here in North Texas, getting a straight answer on your job is a phone call to the shop floor, not a ticket in a queue.
Experience You Can See in the Finish
Industrial-Scale Capability and Hands-On Texas Expertise
Crosslink South operates a 20,000-square-foot facility staffed by people who have spent more than two decades around ovens, blast media, and coating guns. That experience shows up where it counts: even coverage, clean edges, and finishes built to hold up to the weather and wear they will actually face out in the field.
Our equipment is set up for real industrial volume. We run large-capacity curing ovens, abrasive blasting systems, and a dedicated burn-off oven for thermal stripping. That combination lets us take a part from bare metal or a previously coated state all the way to a finished product without ever shipping it elsewhere. We coat and finish steel, aluminum, and a wide range of fabricated and architectural parts.
Quality control is built into every step here, not bolted on at the end. We inspect incoming parts, prep every surface properly so coatings actually bond, and check the finish before anything leaves our dock. We also keep a wide range of colors on hand and will do our best to match a spec when a job calls for it, which matters when your finish has to line up with parts coated elsewhere. And because we are a local Texas operation, the people you talk to are the same people doing the work on your part. Customer service is a team sport.

Why Crosslink South
Metal Finishing Services FAQs
Answers to Your Common Questions
A powder coating company applies a dry, powdered finish to metal parts and cures it with heat to create a hard, durable coating. A full-service shop like Crosslink South also handles the related steps, such as sandblasting, burn-off stripping, and metal finishing, so your part can be prepped, coated, and finished all in one place.
Powder coating is a finishing process in which finely ground powder is applied to a part, usually via electrostatic spray, then cured in an oven. The heat melts and bonds the powder into a smooth, even layer that is tougher and more corrosion-resistant than most liquid paints.
Sandblasting, also called abrasive blasting, cleans and prepares a surface before coating. It removes rust, old paint, and contaminants and creates a profile that helps the new finish adhere. Good blasting is one of the biggest factors in how long a coating actually lasts.
Thermal burn-off stripping uses controlled heat to remove old powder, paint, and coatings from metal parts and fixtures. It is a clean alternative to chemical strippers, and it is the standard way to reclaim coating racks and hooks or to take previously coated parts back to bare metal before a fresh finish.
We work with metal fabrication shops, OEM and equipment manufacturers, architectural and ornamental metal fabricators, fence and gate manufacturers, industrial and construction contractors, oil and gas, and agriculture. If your project involves metal that needs protection or a clean finish, it is very likely in our wheelhouse.
We serve manufacturers, fabricators, and contractors across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, including Dallas, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Irving, Garland, Carrollton, Mesquite, Mansfield, Midlothian, Richardson, and the Waxahachie, Red Oak, and Lancaster corridor.
